With organic reach as low as 2%, Facebook has essentially become an ad platform. It’s likely only a matter of time before organic reach hits zero, so you might as well invest in creating a paid strategy now.

Here are 5 ways that a social advertising strategy can support your work to find buyers and sellers and increase awareness of your services:

1. Your potential buyers and sellers are on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger an average of 50 minutes a day!

Through Facebook’s “custom audience” feature you can target your existing email list with ads. In addition, you can target people who have visited your website including specific pages, even within a certain time frame. This is often referred to as a WARM audience.

4. Get super specific with the audience you want to target.

Facebook’s ad platform allows you to segment based on a user’s location, likes, interests, income, even if it someone is “likely to move”. Ads to this audience can contribute to website traffic (which you can later re-target with ads). This is often referred to as a COLD audience.

5. Complement your traditional advertising.

In marketing, it is said that a customer has to see an ad up to seven times to remember it. Facebook and Instagram ads can no doubt complement your traditional advertising tactics. Creative and informative content will help your audience learn about your biz and services.
